A strange girl in a strange world with strange thoughts and wonderful daydreams and even greater dreams. I'm still a girl in a world full of people that will never fully understand me. I can stand on my own and say the world is sick but I can't say what it is that makes us darling. I'm just me, absolutley no regrets, no apologies. I never tire of being out there on my own even though I say I do (sometimes only sometimes). I go from day to day, I know where the pieces are, I know where my car is parked but I don't always know it's YOU. I like being melancholy, I like being happy, I like being wrong, I like being right, I don't like negative people or negative thoughts. I love rainy days and sometimes the sunny ones. I mostly like the ones where I wake up every day. I'm just me, take me or leave me but most of all, please leave a lasting impression so I never forget you.
Okay... I am 17. I hate homophobes and labels because my best friend Devon is gay,he is the love of my life and I know many homosexual people which pisses me off when people want to hurt/hate them just because they are who they were born to be. I hate labels because it's so cliche to say oh I'm "goth" or I'm "emo" or I'm "punk" so on and so on you get the point. Who needs labels anyways? It just makes people feel like they belong to something I guess... a bigger meaning to life perhaps? Labels for me? Oh no... not me because I have my own thing going on and so many people claim to be "goth" or such that aren't. Ah... which reminds me. I hate posers... why be something you're not? To fit in? It's so sad and tragic that you can't just be yourself. I wear mostly black by choice because I hate color for personal reasons which I would agree if you were to say is a psychological problem and I am often considered a "goth" but I'm not because I am not going to be labeled. Labeling has become stupid and is now being used against the styles. Goth used to mean you dressed a certain way, lived a certain lifestyle and generally listened to a certain type of music... what is it now that the posers dress in goth drag and are actually a prep underneath it all? God knows that really puts pins under the surface of my skin... makes me wanna pull out my hair. Weekends are dedicated to Bulldog's and the wonderful concerts while weekdays are much dedicated to getting in my daily fun with The Crow, Hedwig and the Angry Inch or my favorite Gypsy 83 listening to my beloved Orgy, HIM, Placebo or Deadstar Assembly and then there is the occassional days in which I am feeling spiffy enough to take artful pictures or write songs/poetry. Gah... yes I have written too much so now I am shuting the fuck up. :p
